Flexible bollards

Flexible bollards guide traffic rather than stop it: they bend when a car clips them and stand back up. They’re the right call where a steel post would do more damage than it prevents.

Where they fit

  • Separating a bike lane or a walkway from parking aisles.
  • Marking a drive-through lane, a loading zone or the edge of a fire route without blocking it.
  • Anywhere snow clearing would wreck rigid posts; they flex under a plough blade (ask the maker about their winter rating).

They won’t stop a vehicle. For impact protection use steel bollards; for a warehouse aisle, rack and column protectors.
