Forklifts hit racking uprights and building columns every day. Protectors take the knock so the rack or the column doesn’t, and they cost far less than a collapsed bay.

## Who sells them in Canada

- **Uline Canada** (Toronto and Edmonton) sells rack, column and end-of-rack protectors from its catalogue.
- **Sure Guard** sells rack, corner and column guards and height guards.
- **Proguard Pacific** (Port Coquitlam, BC) designs and makes pipe protectors, barrier rails, EV-charger guards and other protective guards in Canada.

## What to tell us

- How many uprights or columns, and their size (upright face width, or column dimensions).
- Which way traffic hits them: a single face, two sides, or an end of aisle.
- Whether you can anchor into the slab (bolt-down protectors) or need a free-standing one.

For a loading dock or a building corner, a concrete-filled [steel bollard](https://safetybollards.ca/steel-bollards) is usually the stronger answer. See [bollards for warehouses](https://safetybollards.ca/best/bollards-for-warehouses).
