# Privacy policy

## What we collect

When you ask for a quote, we collect your name, work email, phone number if you give it, company, role, the site’s city and province, the date you need it by, your site plan (the runs, measurements and products you chose) and any notes. When you use the contact form, we collect what you type in. We don’t ask for payment details on this site.

## How we use it

Only to prepare and follow up on your quote and to reply to you. To price and deliver an order we share the products, quantities and delivery location (not your notes) with the distributor that supplies it and, if you asked for installation, the installer. We never sell your information and we don’t add you to a mailing list.

## How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept for up to two years so we can answer questions about a quote or a repeat order, then deleted. Ask us any time and we’ll delete yours sooner.

## Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It sets cookies and records page visits and general location and device information in aggregate; we don’t send it your name, email or site plan. We also count visits and quote requests in our own anonymous tracker, which stores no IP addresses or contact details. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

## Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Use the [contact page](https://safetybollards.ca/contact) and we’ll take care of it.
