Bollards are usually a line item you have to chase on a paving or site job. Send the plan, get a delivered price and the spec sheets for the submittal.

## What you get

- Quantities from the drawings or your measurements, recomputed in the quote.
- Spec sheets and install drawings from the manufacturer for the submittal (crash-rated systems come with their foundation drawing).
- Delivery to site, with what’s needed to unload noted (precast barriers and curbs are heavy).

## Installer notes

- Core at least 2 in over the post and take footings below frost ([core-drilled](https://safetybollards.ca/installation/core-drilled-bollards)).
- Pour-in-place posts go on the pour schedule ([embedded](https://safetybollards.ca/installation/embedded-bollards)).
- A rated bollard is only rated on its tested foundation: build to the drawing.
